Abstract:Solvent extraction technology was used to extract oil from Jatropha curcas seed.The effects on oil extraction rate of extraction temperature,extraction stage number,mass ratio of solvent to feed and extraction time were studied.The optimal condition for countercurrent extraction was determined as follows:extraction temperature 60℃,extraction stage number 5,mass ratio of solvent to feed 8:1 and extraction time for single 1h.Under this condition,the oil extraction rate was 99.1%.The acid value of the crude oil obtained was 2.8-4.2 mgKOH/g,which indicated that the crude oil could be used as a material for preparing biodiesel without further treatment.
