Extraction of crude protein from the cake of Jatropha curcas L.seed and removal of toxic protein Curcin and removal of toxic protein Curcin

    The extraction technology of crude protein from the cake of Jatropha curcas L.seed and removal of toxic protein Curcin by ultrafiltration technique were studied.The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were as follows:0.005 moL/L PBS buffer containing 1.00 mmol/L sodium chloride  used as extraction solvent,particle size of the material 80 meshes,extraction time 90 min,ratio of solid to liquid 1:12,extraction temperature 65¡æ.Under the optimal conditions,the extraction efficiency of crude protein reached 98.11%.The removal rate of the toxic protein Curcin was 97.62% under the conditions of ultrafiltration time 60 min,temperature 45¡æ,ultrafiltration pressure 0.14Mpa and the mass concentration of ultrafiltrate 3.232mg/mL.
