Operation process
The seed cotton is sent to the workshop by conveying system then it will be sent to the cotton storage box of the gin through separation , clearance , storage and distribution . The seed cotton is fed by the feeding rollers through the action of feeding motor . The feeding amount is automatically controlled according to the feedback current which is influenced by the pressure and density of the processing box . First , the seed cotton , which has been impacted and loosened by the pricked roller , is left on the channel saw roller . Secondly , the seed cotton is uniformly hooked by channel saw teeth through the blocking of wire brushes and is combed out by brush roller to the sliding plate . Before the seed cotton is fed into the gin , the segments of seed cotton , discharged by the seed cotton through the action of pricked roller and channel saw roller , will be recollected by the channel recollecting saw roller and fed to the sliding plate by the brush roller . The foreign matter , bad seed , dead cotton and dust will be discharged out of the gin by the foreign matter conveyer distributor . The seed cotton will be fed into the front part of the gin and sent to the turning saw blades through the cotton pricked roller . The seed cotton is hooked by saw teeth and sent to the processing box through the block ribs . Now the running speed of seed cotton in the processing box is equal to the linear velocity of saw blades . When the seed cotton goes through the processing point of ribs , the fiber which is inlaid in the saw teeth will be hooked away by the saw blades . The others continue turning with the cotton rolls . The time that the seed cotton stays in the processing box is about 1 minute---that is to say , after the normal cotton roll forms . When the hooked cotton seed comes to the cotton seed comb , the linear velocity of seed cotton roll is the lowest . Because the newly-hooked seed cotton enters the processing box , there forms a clearance which is caused by the speed difference . The ginned cotton seeds are continuously pushed out of the processing box and discharged from the middle of gin ribs and block ribs . The hooked fiber is brushed to the lint conveying channel by the brush which is in the back box and whose linear velocity is several times faster than that of saw blades . Then after being cleaned by the lint cleaner , it will be sent to the lint condenser for baling and package . |
